SEPTEMBER 82 1976
A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened
at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 1976 by President Rollin
E. Farrand, with Mr. Farrand, Mr. Brunner and Mr. Mullen present.
Mr'. Farrand reported that the Board of Public Works has reviewed
the operation of the Bureau of Cemeteries. It was moved by
Mr. Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner, that James R. Seitz be
appointed Sexton of the Bureau of Cemeteries, with responsibility
for the operation of the Bureau of Cemeteries. It is understood
that the Bureau of Cemeteries will remain as a functioning Bureau
in the Department of Public Works, reporting to the Board of
Public Works through the Director°of the'Department of Public Works.
The motion carried.
Upon motion made by Mr. Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner and
carried, the special meeting was adjourned at 3:34 p.m.
