JUNE 9, 1976
A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at
10:00 a.m, on Wednesday, June 9, 1976 by President Rollin E. Farrand
with Mr. Farrand, Mr., Brunner and Mr. Mullen present.
APPROVAL OF PURCHASE AGREEMENT — SALE OF 1224 W. WASHINGTON
Mr. Farrand informed the Board that a purchase agreement was
prepared for the sale of a city -owned lot at 1224 W. Washington
at a total price of $887.00. The sale of the lot was previously
approved by the Common Council and the Board directed that appraiisals
be made and an offering price set. Since the lot is valued at less
than $1,000, the Board has the authority, under the ordinance, to
proceed with the private sale of the lot. Slutsky-Peltz Plumbing &
Heating, Inc. have reviewed the purchase agreement and have signed
it and returned it to the Board for approval. Upon motion made by Mr.
Farrand, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the Board approved and
signed the purchase agreement with Slutsky-Peitz Plumbing & Heating
Company, Inc. for the purchase of the city -owned lot at 1224 17.
Washington for a total price of $887.00. The purchase agreement
was referred to the City Attorneys office for preparation of the
deed and final closing.
