AUGUST 28, 1975
A Special Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at
10:45 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 1975 by Chairman Rollin E.
Farrand, with Mr. Farrand and Mr. Barcome present.
APPROVAL OF BLOCK PARTY - 1700 NORTH ADAMS STREET
The Board received a request from residents of the 1700 block of
North Adams Street to close their block, from.Keller to Marquette,
on Friday, August 29 from 4:30 p.m. to midnight, for a Block Party.
The Block Party will be held on private property, but they are
requesting that the block be closed for safety reasons. Upon
motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the closing
of the street for the Block Party and directed that the Bureau of
Traffic and Lighting be advised to deliver barricades to the area.
There being no further business to come before the Board, upon
motion made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:50 a.m.
