SPECIAL MEETING
JULY 17, 1975
A Special Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at
8:05 a.m, on Thursday, July 17, 1975 with all members present.
REQUEST TO CLOSE FRANKLIN STREET APPROVED
The Board received a request from the Gates Chevrolet Company
to close Franklin Street, adjacent to their business, on
July 17, 18 and 19 for a three-day sale.
Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the request was approved
subject to the following conditions:
1. The City be reimbursed for lost parking meter
revenue @ $2.00 per day or portion thereof per
day per meter space.
2. A certificate of insurance be filed with the
fi Board holding the City of South Bend harmless
from any liability.
3. Off -duty police be provided.
Upon motion made, �secoxided and carried, the special meeting
adjourned at 8:10 a.m.
