A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at
9:00 a.m, on Thursday,,,July 10, 1975 by Chairman Rollin Farrand:
with Mr. Farrand and Mr. Seitz present.
AWARDING OF BID - TURNER BUILDING DEMOLITION
The Board received a recommendation from Patrick M. McMahon,
Manager of the Bureau of Public Construction, that the bids for
the demolition of the old Turner Building had been reviewed and
that the contract should be awarded to the low bidder, LaFree
Excavating, Inc., on their low bid of $6,400.00. Upon motion
made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the recommendation
and awarded the contract to the LaFree Excavating, Inc., subject
to receipt of the Certificate of Insurance required, the Hold
Harmless Agreement and the 100% Performance Bond.
