DECEMBER 30, 1976
A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened
at 9:30 a.m, on Thursday, December 3.0, 1976 by President
Rollin.Farrand with Mr. Farrand, Mr. Brunner and Mr. Mullen
present. Fire Chief Oscar Van Wiele was also present.
Chief Van Wiele advised the Board that the bid of the Midwest
Fire and Safety Equipment Company for fire hose had been
reviewed by his department. The bid meets all specifications
and was the only bid received. Chief Van Wiele said the
money for the hose purchase is in the 1976 budget and he
requested that the Board award the bid.
Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Mullen and
carried, the Board approved the recommendation of Chief
Van Wiele'and accepted the bid of Midwest Fire and Safety
Equipment for fire hose.
There being no further business to come before the Board, upon
motion made by Mr. Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried,
the special meeting adjourned at 9:40 a.r,..
