As you know contaminated soils were found on St. Peter Street where we need to run the main storm sewer trunk line for the western half of the project. These soils were found on August 30". Since this time no further work has been done due to testing and waiting on a resolution from the city. Walsh & Kelly Inc. is requesting addition days from August 30" to October 25t" 2016. This is the time period for waiting on a resolution from the city and the required testing for the landfill. We are also asking for addition days from October 20'" to December 1St this is because we are unable to progress on the project due to the lack of sufficient time to restore any more streets this season. Walsh & Kelly Inc. will also be asking for addition compensation for cost due to increases in labor, materials, and equipment cost associated with completing the project next season. Theses exact costs have not been calculated but will be in the near future.
