The event would be held from 5-7 PM with set up starting at 3PM. We are asking to close Westmoor St from Bendix to 20 feet East of Gate 9 at the Honeywell Aerospace facility. We do not want to impede any of the company's traffic but want to close the street for the safety of the people attending the event. This event is to inform and remind the community that Honeywell has "Locked Out' the members of Local 9 UAW. Many people think this is a strike, or that our members walked out on their jobs. This is not the case and we want to have the opportunity to explain that to the community by holding this gathering. It will be attended by many members of the community, local elected officials and a variety of other Unions from around the region. This will be a peaceful informative event. Please feel free to contact our Union with any questions at (574) 289-5825 Best regards, Matt Pizana Local 9 UAW I LOCAL NO. 9, U.A.W.
