SPECIAL MEETING DEC:EMBER 20, 1991
A Special meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at
1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 1991, by Board President John
E. Leszczynski, with Mr. Leszczynski, Mrs. Patricia E. DeClercq
and Ms. Katherine Humphreys present. Also present was Assistant
City Attorney Mary H. Mueller.
AWARD BID - TWENTY (20), MORE OR LESS, USED, 1990 MODEL YEAR OR
NEWER FOUR DOOR SEDAN AUTOMOBILES
Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of a letter
from Mr. Phil St. Clair, Director, Division of Equipment
Services, recommending that the Board award the low bid of Gates
Chevrolet Corporation, 401 South Lafayette Boulevard, South Bend,
Indiana, for twenty-two (22) 1991 Cavalier RS Four Door
Sedans at a unit price of $7,225.00 each. It is noted that bids
for these vehicles were opened by the Board on December 16,
1991. Therefore, Ms. Humphreys made a motion that the
recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded. Mrs. DeClercq
seconded the motion which carried.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a
motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and
carried, the meeting adjourned at 1:32 a.m.
