South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting –September 18, 2009 <br /> <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br /> <br />B. South Bend Central Development Area <br /> <br />(1) continued… <br /> <br />Mr. Varner said he did not believe he has <br />seen the budget for Coveleski Park and asked <br />that it be supplied to him. Mr. Inks said he <br />would get a copy to Mr. Varner. <br /> <br />CF <br />Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by <br />OMMISSION APPROVED THE IRST <br />AAA <br />MENDMENT TO DDENDUM GREEMENT AND <br />Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the <br />LAHOKS <br />ETTER GREEMENT BETWEEN PORT <br />Commission approved the First Amendment <br />CSB <br />AND THE ITY OF OUTH END <br />to Addendum Agreement and Letter <br />Agreement between HOK Sport and the City <br />of South Bend. <br /> <br /> <br />(2) Listing Agreement with CB Richard Ellis <br />for SBCDA properties. (Colfax & Hill and <br />LaSalle Hotel. <br /> <br />Mr. Kain noted that in an effort to be more <br />aggressive in pushing city owned properties <br />for development, there is a draft agreement <br />with CB Richard Ellis for two properties: <br />one at the northwest corner of Colfax and <br />Hill Streets and the other the LaSalle Hotel. <br />Mr. Kain pointed out some changes that were <br />made to the agreement since the draft was <br />provided to Commissioners. One change <br />was that staff has negotiated a 9% <br />commission instead of 10% when a co- <br />broker is involved. Also, language was <br />added to D.5. stating that a valid offer for <br />purposes of qualifying for a commission <br />must conform to Design Guidelines <br />established by the Redevelopment <br />Commission. The number of time allowed to <br />finalize a sale was changed from 90 days to <br />180 days, given the economic climate. Also, <br />language was added back in that the <br /> 10 <br /> <br />
