RESOLUTION NO. qoJ? -8 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND APPROVING THE AWARD OF CONTRACTS IN EX- <br />CESS OF $10,000.00 UNDER THE MULTI - FAMILY REHABILI- <br />TATION PROJECT, TO BE ADMINISTERED THROUGH THE <br />DIVISION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend recognizes the need to rehabilitate build - <br />ings used to house more than five families or individuals; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has allocated $100,000.00 to fund projects of this type, <br />under CD81 -118, Multi- family Rehab; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has awarded two contracts under this <br />program, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND: <br />SECTION I: Approve the following contracts awarded by the Board of Public <br />Works in excess of $10,000.00: <br />YWCA - 302 North Lafayette Blvd. $78,000.00 <br />Hope Rescue Mission - 532 South Michigan $22,000.00 <br />SECTION II: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect after its <br />adoption by the Common Council and approval th the Mayor. <br />PRESENTED 0 - a <br />NOT APPMM <br />ADOPTEd 1- 8' - e2 4-,g I <br />FLED in cgi 'S OFFICE <br />Irene Gammon <br />CITY CLERIC, SOUTH BEND, IND. <br />
