~~~o <br />1 <br />PUBLIC AGENDA SESSION AUGUST 24, 2006 <br />APPROVE/DENY TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />The following traffic control devices were approved/denied: <br />NEW INSTALLATION: Handicapped Accessible Parking Space Signs <br />LOCATION: 2101 Leer <br />COMMENT GilotlInks - DENIED: The property owner <br />requested the signs for visitors to pick him up. The <br />Ordinance for handicapped pazking space signs is <br />written for 1) a handicapped vehicle associated with <br />a driver who has medical proof of handicap <br />recognized by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and <br />who resides at a residence where the space is being <br />reserved and 2) that does not have a driveway that <br />offers ease of handicapped access. <br />NEW INSTALLATION: Handicapped Accessible Parking Space Signs <br />LOCATION: 450 South Phillipa <br />COMMENTS: Gilot/Littrell -Approved -Homeowner has paza- <br />transit to pick him up. All Criteria has been met. <br />The Clerk was instructed to post the agenda and notify the media and other persons who <br />have requested notice of the meeting agenda.
