<br />FILING OF MONTHLY REPORT -WATER WORKS
<br />Mr. Andy Wierzbicki, Water Works, submitted a report for the Division of Water Works
<br />for the month of July 2006. There being no further discussion, upon a motion made by
<br />Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the monthly report was accepted and filed.
<br />APPROVAL OF TRANSIENT MERCHANT LICENSE -SOUTH BEND ANNUAL
<br />REGGAE FESTIVAL - PASON FOODS, INC.
<br />Mr. Inks stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Police
<br />Department, Fire Department and the Building Commissioner, for a License Application
<br />for a Transient Merchant License, as submitted by Mr. John Pangani, Pason Foods, Inc.,
<br />1103 South Huntington, Syracuse, Indiana, to conduct a reggae festival including food,
<br />beverages, arts and crafts at the South Bend Regional Airport site, 4302 Lathrop Road,
<br />South Bend, Indiana. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell seconded by Mr.
<br />Gilot and carried, the Transient Merchant License was approved.
<br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS -PUBLIC PARKING FACILITY
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the following
<br />license applications were approved:
<br />Ampco System Parking
<br />311 South Lafayette
<br />111 South Michigan
<br />211 North Lafayette
<br />121 East Wayne
<br />220 West Wayne
<br />226 South Main
<br />123 North St. Joseph
<br />126 North Main
<br />225 South Main
<br />The above license applications were approved and referred to Administration and
<br />Finance for issuance of a license. It was noted that the required Proof of Insurance as
<br />well as the hours and rates to be charged was attached to the application.
<br />APPROVAL OF TRIPLE TRAILER PERMIT -YELLOW TRANSPORTATION, INC.
<br />Mr. Inks stated a Triple Trailer Permit has been submitted to the Board for approval by
<br />Mr. Dave Kaelin, Yellow Transportation, 3825 William Richardson Drive, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, for ingress and egress from the Toll Road. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell,
<br />seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the Triple Trailer Permit was approved.
<br />APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO
<br />REMONSTRATE -NORTH SIDE OF IRELAND ROAD. WEST OF IRELAND
<br />ROAD -WATER
<br />Mr. Inks stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of
<br />Right to remonstrate as submitted by Mr. Dale R. Cooper, 21901 West Ireland Road,
<br />South Bend, Indiana 46614. The Consent indicates that in consideration for permission
<br />to tap into public water system of the City, to provide water service to 21801 West
<br />Ireland Road, South Bend, Indiana 46614, (Key # 001-1015-031005), Mr. Cooper waives
<br />and releases any and all rights to remonstrate against or oppose any pending or future
<br />annexation of the property by the City of South Bend. Therefore, Mr. Littrell made a
<br />motion that the Consent be approved. Mr. Gilot seconded the motion, which carried.
<br />IRONWOOD ROAD, SOUTH SIDE OF DOUGLAS ROAD -WATER
<br />Mr. Inks stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of
<br />Right to remonstrate as submitted by Mr. Daniel A. Berry of BBM, LLC, 229 Red Coach
<br />Drive, Suite 103, Mishawaka, Indiana 46545. The Consent indicates that in consideration
<br />for permission to tap into public water system of the City, to provide water service to
<br />54101 North Ironwood Road, South Bend, Indiana 46637, (Key # 002-1022-049605), Mr.
<br />Berry waives and releases any and all rights to remonstrate against or oppose any pending
<br />or future annexation of the property by the City of South Bend. Therefore, Mr. Littrell
