Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council <br />2009 <br />The August 24, 2009 Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council <br />was called to order by Council President Derek D. Dieter at 3:45 p.m. in the <br />Council's Informal Meeting Room. <br />Persons in attendance included Council Members Rouse, Dieter, LaFountain, <br />Kirsits, Varner, Henry Davis, Jr., and Puzzello; Fire Chief Howard Buchanon, II, <br />Assistant Fire Chief Jim Lopez; Assistant Chief Mark Nowicki, Charles Leone, <br />Board of Public Safety's Agent; and Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand, Council's Agent. <br />Council President Dieter noted that the Executive Session was called pursuant to <br />the August 20, 2009 Notice of Executive Session (copy attached) for the <br />purpose of discussing strategy with regard to collective bargaining relative to <br />public safety employees pursuant to Indiana Code 5-14-1.5-6.1 (b)(2)(A). <br />This is to certify that the only subject matter discussed at this Executive Session <br />was that contained in the August 20, 2009 "Notice of Executive Session". <br />Council President Dieter adjourned the Executive Session at 4:40 p.m. <br />R~pectfully;~gbed, <br />• ~~ ~3 <br />Derek D.
