Director of Recreation, 574.299.4768 ext. 245 <br /> <br />Newest Historical Sign to be Unveiled <br /> <br /> <br />SOUTH BEND, Indiana – The South Bend Parks & Recreation Department will unveil the <br />th <br />latest in a series of historical signs Wednesday afternoon, September 30 , at 3:00 p.m. <br />The sign interprets the former Stephenson Mill and will be located adjacent to the <br />building located along Colfax Avenue between the St. Joseph River and the East Race <br />Waterway. The sign is the seventh in the series which highlight points of interest along <br />the East Race Waterway, downtown South Bend. <br /> <br />Information on the project is available by contacting Garry Harrington, Naturalist at <br />Rum Village Park, at 574.235.9455. <br /> <br />For more information on Parks & Recreation Department events, facilities, or programs, <br />call (574) 299-4765 or visit www.sbpark.org . <br /> <br />### <br /> <br />
