Community Relations Committee Ordinance Page 2 ~~ ~~ ~;~~~~~ ~ ~~, ~'a~l of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: Section I. Chapter 2, Article 1, Section 2-10 (i) (3) of the South Bend Municipal Code is amended to read in its entirety as follows: (3) Community Relations Committee: Overseeing the various activities of the Office of Community Affairs and the relationships and ongoing communications with other public and private entities operating within the City of South Bend. The Chai erson of the Communi Relations Committee shall schedule not less than two 2 committee meetin s each calendar ear invitin the su erintendent school trustees of the South Bend Communi School Co oration Board of Trustees their committees or desi ated re resentatives and other non- ublic school officials o eratin within the Ci of South Bend to discuss schooUcommunity relations The Chairperson may schedule any additional meetings in a calendar year on schooUcommunit~relations as he or she deems appropriate The Chaimerson shall addrtionallX schedule committee meetin s with the Residential Nei hborhoods Committee to receive and discuss information from the Communi , /ty Campus Advisor Coalition (CCAC~and all city agencies, offices and departments involved with ublic safe re ulations as further addressed in Section 14-60 of the South Bend Muraci al Code. Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayorr_, and legal publication.
