ORDINANCE NO._______ -_ <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE <br />OF RUSKIN STREET (BETWEEN ROBERTS R <br />EMERSON STREETS) IN THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA 46615 <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. ORDINANCE NO. 4990 --68, AS AMENDED, WHICH ORDINANCE IS <br />COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br />BE AND THE SAME HEREBY IS AMENDED IN ORDER THAT THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION <br />OF THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED REAL ESTATE IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, STATE OF INDIANA. <br />APART OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 37 NORTH, <br />RANGE 3 EAST DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING AT A POINT 7 FEET EAST OF <br />THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LOT NUMBERED 1 AS SHOWN ON THE RECORDED PLAT OF <br />BAKER AND MCHENRY'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND AS RECORDED IN PLAT <br />BOOK 10, PAGE 58; THENCE SOUTH ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID ADDITION A <br />DISTANCE OF 514 FEET TO THE TRUE BEGINNING POINT OF THE LAND HEREIN <br />DESCRIBED (SAID POINT BEING THE CENTER OF RUSKIN STREET, EXTENDED) THENCE <br />SOUTH AND ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID ADDITION A DISTANCE OF 560 FEET TO <br />THE CENTER LINE OF HILDRETH STREET, EXTENDED; THENCE EAST AND ALONG THE <br />CENTER LINE OF HILDRETH STREET, EXTENDED, 125.11 FEET TO THE WEST LINE OF <br />THE REVISED PLAT OF OAKLAND PARK ADDITION, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 6, PAGE 89; THENCE NORTH AND ALONG THE WEST <br />LINE OF SAID ADDITION 560 FEET TO THE CENTER LINE OF RUSKIN STREET, <br />EXTENDED; THENCE WEST 125.18 FEET TO THE PLACE OF BEGINNING. <br />BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY ESTABLISHED AS "B" RESIDENTIAL, HEIGHT AND AREA <br />DISTRICT. <br />SECTION II.
