APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (CONT.) <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by Ms. King <br />and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the <br />Claims submitted August 7, 2009, and ordered checks to <br />be released. <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />A. Communication from Vivian Sallie, Century <br />Center Board of Managers <br />Mr. Inks noted that Commissioners received a <br />Communication from the president of Century <br />Center's Board of Managers. Please be assured <br />that the enhancements will create a safe, beautiful, <br />and functional amenity for our local citizens and <br />out-of--town guests to enjoy for many years to <br />come. <br />We thank you for your foresight and understanding <br />of the worthiness of this capital improvement to the <br />Century Center.
