• <br />6. The Commission hereby finds and deternlmes that it will be of public <br />utility and benefit to consolidate the entire Sample-Ewing Area with and into the Airport Area <br />and to further expand the Airport Area by adding the New Areas to the Airport Area through <br />Expansion Area No. 23 for the LaSalle Square Area and Expansion Area No. 24 for the <br />Marycrest/Hurwich Area, as set forth herein and in the Plan Amendment, and develop them <br />under the Act. <br />7. The Plan Amendment is in all respects approved and is hereby adopted as <br />the Plan Amendment for the Airport Area, which Plan Amendment shall include the Sample- <br />Ewing Area and the New Areas as part of the Airport Area. Such Plan Amendment shall be <br />entitled "Amendment to the Airport Economic Development Area Development Plan," and, <br />when combined with the original Economic Development Plan for the Airport Area, shall be <br />deemed to refer to such Airport Economic Development Area Development Plan as so amended. <br />8. The maps and plats of the Consolidated Area and the New Areas showing <br />their boundaries, the location of the various parcels of property.. streets, alleys, and other features <br />affecting the acquisition, clearance. replatting, replam~ing. rezoning, or redevelopment of the <br />Consolidated Area and the New Areas, that are to be devoted to public ways, levees, sewerage, <br />parks, playgrounds, and other public purposes under the Plan Amendment are hereby approved <br />and adopted as the maps and plats for the Consolidated Area and the New Areas. <br />9. The Commission previously found and determined that for purposes of the <br />allocation provisions of Section 39 of the Act, the Sample-Ewing Area and the Airport Area <br />constituted allocation areas for purposes of the Act, which for purposes of the Act and this <br />Resolution means the Consolidated Area shall be an allocation area. <br />10. The Commission hereby finds and determines that Allocation Area No. 1, <br />created by Resolution No. 919, as amended, shall hereafter be deemed to include the Sample- <br />Ewing Allocation Area (Allocation Area No. 1 and the Sample-Ewing Allocation Area having <br />been consolidated are hereinafter collectively referred to as "Allocation Area No. 1 ") <br />11. The various base assessment dates for various portions of the Sample- <br />Ewing Allocation Area and Allocation Area No. 1, as previously established pursuant to prior <br />actions of the Commission, shall continue in place with respect to the now consolidated <br />Allocation Area No. 1. <br />12. The Commission hereby finds and determines that for purposes of the <br />allocation provisions of Section 39 of the Act, Allocation Area No. 1, shall hereafter be deemed <br />to include Expansion Area No. 23 and Expansion Area No. 24 for purposes of the Act and this <br />Resolution. <br />13. Such expansion of Allocation Area No. 1 shall be designated for the <br />LaSalle Square Area as the "Airport Economic Development Area, Allocation Area No. 1, <br />Expansion Area No. 23" ("Allocation Area No. 1, Expansion Area No. 23") and for the <br />• <br />BDDBOI 4756224v4 - 5 - <br />
