' ORDINANCE NO . ~~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ' <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $492,341 WITHIN FUND 212 FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />DEFRAYING THE ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY & <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR PROGRAM YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1998. <br />Statement of Purpose and Intent: <br />In order to assure the efficient and timely utilization of community <br />resources, the Department of Community & Economic Development has entered into <br />contracts to provide staff and administrative support for various not-for-profit <br />organizations and programs. These revenues are the basis for the administrative <br />budget and need to be appropriated for that use. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $492,341 is hereby appropriated to Fund 212 for <br />program year 1998, beginning January 1, 1998. <br />SECTION II.
