ORDINANCE NO. U U 7 `~ ~' AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, DECREASING THE APPROPRIATION FOR THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGSWAY FUND FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1998, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1998 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT It is necessary to pass this Ordinance in order to decrease the appropriation for the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund which was included in Ordinance Number 8828-97, enacted on September 30, 1997. This decrease is necessitated by a reduction in the State Gasoline Tax distribution for 1998.
