s ORDINANCE NO. ~D l ~ ~ I AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COIINCIL OF THE CITY OF SOIITH BEND, INDIANA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 8723-96 TO DECREASE THE APPROPRIATION FOR THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FIIND FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANIIARY 1, 1997 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1997 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT It is necessary to pass this Ordinance in order to decrease the appropriation for the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund which was included in Ordinance Number 8823-96. This decrease is necessitated by a reduction in the State Gasoline Tax distribution for 1998.
