ORDINANCE NO . U 8O3 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $41,210.00 FROM THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PERFORMING VARIOUS REPAIRS AT THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: The Morris Civic Auditorium is owned by the City of South Bend and is managed under the control of the Century Center Board of Managers. The Century Center Board of Managers on April 16, 1997, determined that it is in the best public interest to complete a number of capital improvement projects prior to the start of next season and to fund those projects with funds on deposit in the Morris Civic Auditorium Improvement Fund. The Morris Civic Auditorium Improvement Fund was established on January 23, 1984 by Ordinance No. 72-94-84. . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The amount of $41,210.00 is hereby appropriated and ordered set apart within the Morris Civic Auditorium Improvement Fund for the purpose and installation of the following: USE OF FUNDS AMOUNT Front Theater Equipment Boiler and A/C Repairs $ 4,625.00 Roof Repairs 14,585.00 Stage and Backstage Repairs 5,000.00 Construction Manager 3,000.00 14,000.00 Grand Total $41,210.00 SECTION II. ' This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after. its passage by the Common Council and Approval by the Mayor.
