Exhibit "A" <br />Project: Michigan Sheet Improvements Phase II <br />Description: This is the second phase for the Michigan Sheet improvements. Phase I <br />was implemented in the fall of 2008 and included new sidewalks, planters, landscaping <br />and lighting along Michigan Street in downtown (between Colfax Ave. and Wayne St.). <br />Phase II of the improvements will be on the West side of Michigan fi•om Washington St. <br />North to Noma Restaurant; the North side of Washington St. from Michigan St. to <br />Woodward Ct,; the North side of Jefferson St. west of St. Joseph St till DeRue Ct.; and <br />the Northeast corner of Michigan St. and Washington St. Improvements will include new <br />sidewalk, planters, landscaping and sh~eetlighting to match the rest of Michigan Street. <br />Phase II was intentionally excluded from the other Michigan Street improvements in <br />2008 due to construction of the All American Trust Place (101 N. Michigan St.). The <br />other two small sections added to Phase II are also in need of attention. <br />Budget: The overall budget projected for Phase II of the Michigan Street improvements <br />is $261,200.00. This includes $1 I ,200.00 in consultant fees for creating the construction <br />documents and surveys. Money for this project conies fi-om the Downtown TIF (bonds). <br />Proposed Construction Schedule: <br />Begin early August and Complete by mid September <br />
