'app 71( h~ <br />4~ - '-...'1 f <br />wr' ;~ <br />i i <br />v. <br />- • - <br />'xn` ~ Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council <br />and the Board of Public Safety <br />2009 <br />The June 17, 2009 Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council and <br />the Board of Public Safety was called to order by Council President Derek D. <br />Dieter at 3:30 p.m. in the Council's Informal Meeting Room. <br />Persons in attendance included Council Members Rouse, Dieter, LaFountain, <br />Kirsits and Puzzello; City Controller M. Catherine Fanello, Board of Safety <br />Member Juanita Dempsey, Uniform Division Chief Jeff Walters, Police Division <br />Chief Gary Horvath, Fire Chief Howard Buchanon, II, Assistant Fire Chief Jim <br />Lopez; Charles Leone, Board of Pubic Safety's Agent; and Kathleen Cekanski- <br />Farrand, Council's Agent. <br />Council President Dieter noted that the Executive Session was called pursuant to <br />the June 12, 2009 Notice of Executive Session (copy attached} for the purpose <br />of discussing strategy with regard to collective bargaining relative to public safety <br />employees pursuant to Indiana Code 5-14-1.5-6.1 (b)(2)(A). <br />This is to certify that the only subject matter discussed at this Executive Session <br />was that contained in the May 8, 2008 "Notice of Executive Session". <br />Council President Dieter adjourned the Executive Session at 4:30 p.m. <br />Re ectfully 'tted, <br />Derek D.
