The annexation area is generally located on the north side of <br />Brick Road, west of the St. Joseph Valley Parkway. The annexation will incorporate <br />approximately 19 acres, which will ultimately be bought by the Department of Redevelopment as <br />a condition of the purchase for a much larger piece of property currently being developed as the <br />US 31 Industrial Park. <br />I am requesting that the public hearing (Second Reading) on the ordinance be schedule for <br />August 10,1998. The delay in the Second reading is due to the Fiscal Plan having to be <br />scheduled before the Board of Public Works, the Board of Public Safety and the Board of Water <br />Commissioners. <br />Your favorable recommendation is respectfully requested. <br />If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 235-5550.
