ORDINANCE NO. ~~ 7 Y-4 ~ ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, APPROPRIATING $15,000 FROM THE OPERATING BALANCE OF THE EAST RACE WATERWAY FUND (FUND #271) STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT The Park Superintendent has determined that it is necessary and appropriate to use funds within the operating balance of the East Race Waterway Fund to fund certain capital and operating expenses of the Park Department. The Common Council has determined it is in the best interest of the City of South Bend to appropriate sufficient funds from this operating balance of the East Race Waterway Fund to allow these expenditures to be made in calendar year 1998. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: Section I. The sum of $15,000 is hereby appropriated and ordered set apart from and within the operating balance of the East Race Waterway Fund and is allocated among the indicated accounts as follows: Supplies: 271.11.1.452.22.24 $7,500 Total Supplies $7,500 Contractuals: 271.1101.452.39.89 $7,500 Total Contractuals $7,500 ~~. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approved by the Mayor.
