ORDINANCE NO. U 1~~~ lU AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.8828-97 TO DECREASE THE APPROPRIATION FOR THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1998 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1998 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT It is necessary to pass this Ordinance in order to decrease the appropriation for the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund which was included in Ordinance Number 8828-97. This decrease is necessitated by a reduction in the State Gasoline tax distribution for 1999. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCII, OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOW: Section I: For the fiscal year ending December 31, 1998, the following changes are made to the following listed accounts: The total net reduction is $174,873.00.
