Gary explained that two of the four digesters in operation since the <br />Waste Water Treatment Plant was opened in the mid-1950's needed cleaning to operate <br />efficiently. The two digesters in question are filled with a heary cement-like gritty sludge that has <br />accumulated over a 50+ year period and now needs to be cleaned out. <br />Councilmember AI Kirsits recommended the bill go to Council favorably. Ann Puzzello seconded <br />the motion and all concurred. <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee at this time, Chairperson Oliver <br />Davis adjourned the meeting at 4:06 p.m. <br />fitted, <br />~4fs; Chairperson <br />mmittee <br />
