SUBSTITUTE BILL N0.32-09 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, TO REDUCE 2009 BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS IN COMMUNITY AND <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUND (# 212) <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />Because of decreases in tax revenues from the time when South Bend enacted its 2009 <br />Budget (Ordinance 9874-08), it has become necessary to reorganize the City's Budget and to <br />reduce various appropriations within certain City Funds. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br />ORDINANCE NO. ~ ~ 2-~' ~ <br />Section I. The appropriations approved in Ordinance No. 9874-08 for the fiscal year <br />ending December 31, 2009 shall be reduced in the following amounts: <br />Fund <br />Major Budget Classification <br />Amount of Reduction <br />Community & Economic <br />Development Fund (#212) <br />Personnel & Benefits <br />Supplies <br />Services <br />$169,525 <br />$700 <br />$39,164 <br />Section II.
