ORDINANCE NO. I ~ ~ ~- AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM CERTAIN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) ACCOUNT FUNDS INTO OTHER CDBG ACCOUNTS This Ordinance is to effectuate a transfer of $49,086 among accounts maintained by the Department of Community and Economic Development under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). This transfer of funds will assure the efficient and timely utilization of CDBG funds in order to implement community objectives. These include acquisition of a vacant commercial structure in the Northeast neighborhood ($25,000) and support for La Casa de Amisted's administrative budget. This transfer also corrects an earlier staff error which took $4,086 from the Near Northwest Social Concerns budget. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: Section I• The sum of $49,086 is hereby transferred from certain Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) fund accounts to other CDBG accounts as set forth below: Reduce the following: 1998 NHS Acq & Demo 1999 LaCasa Rehab Increase the following: 1999 NHS Cedar/Arthur Acquisition/Demolition 1999 LaCasa Admin 1997 NNN Social Concerns Total Total Amount $29,086 20.000 $49,086 $25,000 20,000 4.086 $49,086 Section II.
