<br />ORDINANCE NO. ~ OV ~-~ l <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AMENDING ARTICLE 2, OF CHAPTER 21, <br />ZONING, OF THE SOUTH BEND MUNICIPAL CODE TO <br />ALLOW ACCESSORY BUILDINGS IN "O" OFFICE <br />Statement of Purpose and Intent <br />The purpose of this ordinance is to allow existing accessory buildings to remain <br />when property is zoned to "O" Office. <br />The Common Council of the City of South Bend finds that it is desirable to make <br />certain amendments to the standards of office zoning in the South Bend Zoning <br />Ordinance. <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br />Section 1. Section 21-12.040 "O" Office District; accessory uses be amended by <br />adding the following section: <br />(2) Accessory structures existing at the time the property is zoned to"O" <br />Office regardless of the sg_uare footage may remain. The total square footage of any new <br />accessory structure shall not cause the total square foota>;e of all accessory structures t_o <br />exceed 576 square feet The height of any new accessory structures shall not exceed 14'. <br />Section 2.
