She stated the money requested <br />was not from property tax; but from user fees, which by their nature hold no cash <br />reserves. Due to the seasonal nature of many Park activities it was essential these <br />capital improvements be started now. The amount, just over $518,000, comes from five <br />separate funds. <br />Betsy Harriman and Susan O'Connor from the Parks presented some detail about the <br />proposed expenditures and answered specific Council questions. <br />On a motion by Councilmember AI "Buddy" Kirsits, and a second by Councilmember <br />Oliver Davis, supported by all, the bill was sent to Council favorably. <br />There being no further business to come before the committee, Chairperson Puzzello <br />adjourned the meeting at 3:30 p.m. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Ann Puzzello, Chairperson <br />PARC Committee <br />
