Inc. 155,77 ] .00 January & February payments on contract <br />$ 352,753.79 <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes seconded by Ms. King COMMISSION APPROVED THE CLAIMS <br />and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the suBMITTED MARCH 6, 2009, AND ORDERED THE <br />Claims submitted March 6, 2009, and ordered checks to CHECKS To BE RELEASED <br />be released. <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />Mr. Inks asked that Items 6.C.(3) and 6.C.(4) be moved <br />up on the agenda. He explained that staff who will be <br />presenting must leave fora 10:15 meeting related to <br />property acquisitions in Ignition Park. There was no <br />objection and the items were so moved. <br />C. South Bend Central Development Area <br />(3) Authorization for Redevelopment Director <br />to sign final site plat of Main and Western <br />Development Block. <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that in 1973 the City of <br />South Bend acquired property in the <br />Main/Western development block, bounded <br />by Main, Western, Michigan, St. Joseph and <br />Monroe Streets. In 1995 the Commission <br />sold off a tract of land for development in the <br />northeast quadrant where the building was <br />used for the Bankruptcy Court.
