Dieter, Chairperson <br />Community & Economic Development Committee <br />South Bend Common Council <br />4th Floor, County City Building <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />RE: Commercial Real Property Tax Abatement Petition for: <br />GATEWAY PLAZA REAL ESTATE, LLC <br />Dear Council Member Dieter: <br />Please find attached the Department of Community & Economic Development's report on a commercial <br />real property tax abatement petition for the above-referenced petitioner for construction of a new facility to <br />be located on vacant property adjacent to 3305 Lathrop Drive. Also attached is a copy of the petition, <br />Statement of Benefits form, and supporting information. <br />The report contains the Department's findings relative to the above petition. The petitioner, Gateway Plaza <br />Real Estate, LLC. proposes to construct an approximate 31,819 square foot combination warehouse/flex <br />building.
