RESOLUTION NO. 3 ~ `~ 2- ~ ~ `~ <br />A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ADOPTION OF A <br />DECLARATORY RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN AREAS <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, COMMONLY <br />KNOWN AS <br />3511 - 3615 Voorde Drive <br />TO BE AN ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION AREA FOR PURPOSES OF <br />A FIVE (5) YEAR PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT -FOR <br />Fortis Plastics, LLC <br />WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, has <br />adopted a Declaratory Resolution designating certain areas within the City as Economic <br />Revitalization Areas for the purpose of tax abatement consideration; and <br />WHEREAS, a Declaratory Resolution designated the area commonly known as <br />3511 - 3615 Voorde Drive, South Bend, Indiana, and which is more particularly <br />described as follows: <br />Land Situated in the State of Indiana, County of St, Joseph, City of <br />South Bend. <br />PARCEL I: A portion of the East '/Z of Section 33, Township 38 <br />North, Range 2 East of the Second Principal Meridian, and a part of <br />the City of South Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, more <br />particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast <br />corner of the Southeast '/a Section 33, thence South 0 degrees, 07 <br />minutes, 29 seconds West, along and with the East line of said <br />Southeast Quarter of Section 33, a distance of 815.52 feet; thence <br />North 89 degrees 40 minutes 09 seconds West, a distance of 1,348.23 <br />feet to the intersection of the Northerly Right-of--Way line of Voorde <br />Drive and the Westerly Right-of--Way line of proposed Progress Drive, <br />said point being the point of beginning; thence North 0 degrees 19 <br />minutes 51 seconds East, along and with the said Westerly Right-of- <br />Way line of proposed Progress Drive, a distance of 455.00 feet; thence <br />North 89 degrees 40 minutes 09 seconds West, along a line parallel <br />with the Northerly Right-of--Way line of Voorde Drive, a distance of <br />250.00 feet; thence South 0 degrees 19 minutes 51 seconds West, a <br />distance of 455.00 feet to a point on the Northerly Right-of--Way line <br />of Voorde Drive; thence South 89 degrees 40 minutes 09 seconds East, <br />
