The purpose of the proposed amendments <br />is to designate the following properties; 219/221 N. Michigan, 237 N. <br />Michigan and 3418 Mishawaka Avenue as local Historic Landmarks. <br />At its May 16, 1994 meeting the Historic Preservation Commission <br />of South Bend and St. Joseph County moved to send to the Common <br />Council a favorable recommendation to designate each of the prior <br />mentioned properties as local Historic Landmarks. <br />We would appreciate your favorble consideration of this matter. <br />Sincerely, <br />David B.
