The Indiana General Assembly granted local <br />governments the authority to enact such local regulations in Public Law 141 -2012, which has been in <br />effect since July 1, 2012. <br />We request that this proposed ordinance be referred to the Council's Health and Public Safety Committee, <br />so that meaningful discussions may take place on regulations aimed at protecting the public health and <br />safety in workplaces and public places throughout ourfc—ofrtwunity.
