RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, PUBLICLY SUPPORTING THE INSTALLATION OF A FENCE ON THE EAST <br />SIDE OF PERLEY PRIMARY FINE ARTS ACADEMY AND ON THE WEST SIDE OF <br />COQUILLARD PARK <br />Q the South Bend Common Council recognizes that Coquillard Park is named after Alexis <br />Coquillard, who is credited with the founding of South Bend and who believed in developing land for <br />park purposes; and <br />6A" the Common Council notes that a proposed four -foot high picket style fence is proposed <br />to be constructed on the east side of Perley Primary Fine Arts Academy and on the west side of Coquillard <br />Park; and <br />6,, the proposed installation of the fence will be a community project which will involve no <br />tax dollars, but instead will be funded by donations, constructed by volunteers, and will utilize paint <br />donated by one of the Sherwin - Williams stores in our city. <br />Section I. The Common Council publicly supports this community project and believes it adds to the civic <br />pride and beautification of the City of South Bend. <br />Section II.
