Jefferson Blvd. <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />Re: Ordinance Establishing an Unsafe Building Fund No. 219 <br />Dear Council President Scott: <br />Attached find a bill for consideration by the Common Council of the City of South Bend to establish a non- <br />reverting Unsafe Building Fund No. 219 and to transfer certain forfeited performance bond revenue to this new <br />fund. The City of South Bend Legal Department has determined that certain revenue and expenditures in <br />connection with the Unsafe Building Law must be accounted for in a separate fund. <br />This bill is respectively submitted for 1st reading filing with the Common Council on January 11, 2016 and 2nd <br />reading, public hearing and 3'd reading on January 25, 2016. <br />Randy Wilkerson, Jennifer Hockenhull and I will present this bill at the appropriate committee and council <br />meetings. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />�a. <br />JoQ H.
