South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting –February 6, 2009 <br /> <br />, <br />of certain obligations and expenses related to <br />MATTERS AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR <br />10:00..,F20,2009 <br /> AM EBRUARY ON <br />the Airport Economic Development <br />RN.2562 <br />ESOLUTION O <br />Allocation Area No. 1 and other related <br />matters, and setting a public hearing for <br />10:00 a.m., February 20, 2009 on Resolution <br />No. 2562. <br /> <br /> <br />(5) Agreement for Services (Business Wire) <br /> <br />Mr. Meteiver explained that as part of the <br />master contract with Blue Waters Group, <br />there is a provision that allows for direct <br />billing from their sub contractors to the city. <br />In order to establish a contractual <br />relationship with those third party <br />subcontractors, we have this form of business <br />services agreement. The agreement has been <br />submitted to Business Wire, but is being <br />reviewed by their attorney and has not been <br />returned signed. Approval by the <br />Commission should be made subject to the <br />final draft of the agreement. <br /> <br />Ms. King asked if there was some kind of <br />approval process by Blue Waters. Mr. <br />Meteiver responded that Blue Waters has <br />signed off on the direct bill authorization. <br /> <br />Mr. Varner clarified that legal counsel is <br />comfortable that the proper accounting <br />procedures are in place to be certain there <br />will not be double billing by the <br />subcontractors. Mr. Meteiver said he is. <br /> <br />CA <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Inks, seconded by Ms. <br />OMMISSION APPROVED THE GREEMENT FOR <br />SBW, <br />ERVICES WITH USINESS IRE SUBJECT TO <br />King and unanimously carried, the <br />LEGAL COUNSEL APPROVAL OF THE FINAL <br />Commission approved the Agreement for <br />. <br />DRAFT <br />Services with Business Wire, subject to legal <br />counsel approval of the final draft. <br /> <br /> <br />F.
