o� ORDINANCE NO. / gr/ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING G ORDINANCE NUMBER 2331 COMkLONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the city of South Bend, `ndiana. SECTION i. That 'rdinance Number 233', adopted by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, on the 25th day of June, 1923, and known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: That the following described real estate situated in said City, to-wit: "Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 439, Whitcomb and Keler' s Third .Sunnymede, And Addition to the City of South Bend; thence West along the °outh line of an alley to the Northerly line of the territory al- ready zoned for commercial use; thence Easterly along the Northerly line of said commercial territory to the Northwesterly line of Longfellow Avenue; thence North- easterly along said linie of said Avenue to the East corner of Lot 484 in said Addition; thence Northwesterly to the North corner of said lot,;- %henc`e Northeasterly to the place of beginning . Also the following afcel of land: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot '740" in said Addition; thence North to the Northeast corner,6f said lot; thence Westerly along the Southerly line "of a -„pp�,ublic alley to the N rthwest Cor- ner of Lot 722 in said c*ad.±tion; thence North to the right- of-way of the Grand Trunk Western Railroad; thence 6outh- westerly along said right-, f-way to the Northerly line-of the area or territory already zoned for commercial use; thence following the line .of said commercial territory in a Southerly direction to. ortherly line of Mishawaka Avenue; thence Easterly to the place of beginning . Also the following pardel of land: Beginning on the East line of Harriett Street and the North line of the ter- ritory already zoned for commercial use, which line is about one-hall block North of Mishawaka Avenue; thence East 1090 feet; thence Forth 81'. 1/2 degrees West 300 feet; thence West 340 feet; thence South 83 degrees West to the Northerly line of the aforesaid commercial district. ” Be and the same is hereby changed from Residential to "C" use and.
