RESOLUTION NO. q `d q-6 1 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SOUTH BEND APPROVING THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT IN <br /> EXCESS OF $10,000 UNDER THE SOUTHEAST RENTAL <br /> REHABILITATION DEMONSTRATION PROJECT, TO BE <br /> ADMINISTERED THROUGH THE DIVISION OF COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development <br /> has initiated a demonstration project to provide assistance to cities seeking <br /> to design programs to rehabilitate small rental properties of 5 to 30 units; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of South Bend has been selected to participate in <br /> such a demonstration project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has allocated $100,000 to fund projects of this <br /> type under CD 80-119, Southeast Rental Demonstration project, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED THAT THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SOUTH BEND: <br /> SECTION I: Approve the following contract awarded by the Board of <br /> Public Works in excess of $10,000.00: <br /> New Hope Housing $50,000.00 <br /> SECTION II: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect after <br /> its adoption by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor. <br /> i <br /> Member of the Common Counci <br /> FILED IN CLERK'S OFFICE <br /> NOV 18 1981 <br /> PRESENTED .,- A 3 .1 / Irene Gammon <br /> NOT APPROVED CITY CLERK,SOUTH BEND,IND. <br /> ADOPTED ! / ' .23-2/ <br />
