<br /> WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend , Indiana , %
<br /> recognizes that Richard C. Dombrowski has diligently served the �;`,
<br /> citizens of our City since 1976; and
<br /> WHEREAS, during this period of time, Councilman Dombrowski w4 tqt
<br /> has earned the reputation of speaking out on behalf of his constitutents 'f ,-
<br /> on critical issues ; and y

<br /> WHEREAS, the Common Council recognizes with pride some of
<br /> Councilman Dombrowski's many contributions such as: co-sponsoring the le f
<br /> ordinance calling for citizen members on Council committees, sponsoring
<br /> the abandoned vehicle bill, sponsoring the scrap and junk yard law,
<br /> sponsoring the truck route law, sponsoring the food vending law
<br /> requiring safety flashers on all such vehicles, and sponsoring the
<br /> Bill requiring licensing of automotive repair and service centers. `
<br /> WHEREAS, the Common Council. will long remember Councilman !
<br /> Dombrowski' s work as "Inter and Master" of the ad hoc junk yard 4y
<br /> Committee and the heatf debates where the neighbors interests were • t-b
<br /> being balanced against ;businesses, n>, f

<br /> WHEREAS, the Common Council further will remember Councilman �,
<br /> Dombrowski as a dedicated public servant who is extremely proud of ` "< ,a

<br /> his Polish ancestry.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City :4
<br /> of South Bend, Indiana as follows: v.,,
<br /> SECTION I. On behalf of the citizens of South Bend , Indiana, i gi
<br /> the Common Council hereby publicly commends and thanks Councilman -i
