REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 11, 2013 <br /> Mr. Sadek advised that he is seeking to rezone from LI Light Industrial District to SF2 Single <br /> Family& Two Family District to allow uses permitted in a SF2 Single Family&Two Family <br /> District. He asked the Council for their favorable consideration. <br /> This being the time heretofore set for the Public Hearing on the above bill, proponents and <br /> opponents were given an opportunity to be heard. <br /> There being no one present wishing to speak to the Council either in favor of or in opposition to <br /> this bill, Councilmember Dieter made a motion for favorable recommendation to full Council <br /> concerning this bill. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana,presented the report from the Commission. <br /> Ms. Smith advised that the requested action is a text amendment, amending various sections of <br /> Chapter 21 of the South Bend Municipal Code. The text amendments address certain changes <br /> that are necessary to revise and clarify various sections of the South Bend Zoning Ordinance. <br /> This being the time heretofore set for the Public Hearing on the above bill,proponents and <br /> opponents were given an opportunity to be heard. <br /> Henry Davis,Jr.: Is this including all rezoning changes that happen in the City of South Bend or <br /> St. Joseph County. <br /> Angela Smith: It will include all rezoning petitions within the City of South Bend. St. Joseph <br /> County recently passed the same ordinance, and it only applies to existing structures. <br /> Henry Davis, Jr.: Does existing structure mean on-going operation or. <br /> Angela Smith: If there is an existing building on the property. <br /> Henry Davis, Jr.: Regardless of who's in it or not. <br /> Angela Smith: Correct <br />
