Shellbark Annexation Area 6 <br /> SECTION III. MUNICIPAL SERVICES <br /> A. Public Works <br /> Sewer - A 21"-diameter sanitary sewer pipe runs on Cleveland Road, at the southern <br /> boundary of the larger development site. This pipe has adequate capacity for the Annexation <br /> Area and for any potential northward extensions on Lynnewood Avenue for future customers. <br /> No additional expenditures will be needed to extend sanitary sewer facilities. <br /> Development of the site, including the Annexation Area, will be done per approved grading and <br /> drainage plans. <br /> Water-The South Bend Water Works currently has a 12" water main on the north side of <br /> Cleveland Road from Riverside Drive to Portage Avenue. This water main will provide <br /> adequate service to the Annexation Area from parcels fronting on Cleveland Road. <br /> Extensions of, or taps into sanitary sewer and water lines shall be governed by I.C. 36-9-22-2, <br /> I.C. 8-1.5-3 and 4, and the rules and regulations of the South Bend Water Works and Sewer <br /> Utility. <br /> Street Lighting - No additional street lighting will be necessary within the Annexation Area. <br /> Waivers of Annexation - No waivers of right to remonstrate against annexation are in effect <br /> for this area. <br /> Streets - No new public streets are proposed as part of this annexation. <br /> No public capital expenditures to extend sweeping or snow removal service are anticipated. <br /> 2014 Actual Budget Report for the Department: <br /> Expenditures: $14,384,741 <br /> Miles of Roadway in City: @512.7 <br /> Cost per Mile: @$28,057 <br /> New Mileage within Area: @0.00 miles (0 feet) <br /> Estimated Maintenance Cost <br /> for Annexation Area per year: @$0 <br />
