<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA PUBLICLY
<br /> HONORING THE MICHIANA JUNIOR PEE WEE BULLDOG FOOTBALL TEAM OF THE POP WARNER
<br /> LITTLE SCHOLARS, INC. FOR WINNING THE NIPWLS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
<br /> the Mission of the Michiana Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. is"to enable children to benefit from
<br /> participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment"; and
<br /> Gym through active participation, Michiana Pop Warner programs "teach fundamental values, skills
<br /> and knowledge that children will use throughout their lives"; and
<br /> OXion.24 Michiana Pop Warner participants practice at Westhaven Park located at Sussex and Sheridan, and
<br /> is the only national youth sports organization which requires participants to meet academic standards; and

<br /> Section I. The Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, is proud to publicly honor & congratulate
<br /> all of the student-athletes,coaches,managers,parents&sponsors of the Junior Pee Wee Bulldog Football Team
<br /> for their hard work & for winning the 2015 Northern Indiana Pop Warner Little Scholars State Championship.
<br /> Section II. The Common Council notes that the Michiana Junior Pee Wee Bulldog Football Team competes
<br /> on November 2ls` in the regional competition in Independence, Missouri, where they can display their athletic
<br /> talents and continue to develop their individual life skills, while representing our city and state and having fun.
