RESOLUTION NO. 1 p Q Q -8s <br /> A RESOLUTION REDUCING THE <br /> CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING <br /> AND SINKING FUND TO ZERO. <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br /> In order to provide needed funds for operations , <br /> it is necessary to reduce the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking <br /> Fund tax rate and levy to zero. Therefore, additional monies will <br /> be available to be used in other property tax supported funds for <br /> necessary expenditures . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON <br /> COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br /> SECTION I. That the Cumulative Sewer Building <br /> and Sinking Fund Tax Rate be reduced from .0943 in 1983 to zero in <br /> 1984. <br /> SECTION II. That the property tax levy for the <br /> Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund be reduced from $395 , 163. 00 <br /> in 1983 to zero in 1984. <br /> SECTION III.
