RESOLUTION NO. 1245-85 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, COMMENDING HERITAGE CABLEVISION CORPORATION AND IN PARTICULAR GARY STEPHENSON FOR THEIR TELE- VISION COVERAGE OF PUBLIC SERVICE ACTIVITIES WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend recognizes that Heritage Cablevision Corporation has covered the regular meetings of the Common Council for the past two years ; and WHEREAS, due to this broadcasting on Cable Channel 3, the public has a fine opportunity to see firsthand some of our City' s public officials in action; and WHEREAS, the Common Council wishes to specifically commend Program Coordinator, Gary Stephenson, who has diligently attended each of the Council meetings for the past two years and filmed the Council proceedings for home viewing. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows : SECTION I. On behalf of the citizens of South Bend, Indiana, the Common Council hereby publicly commends Program Coordinator Gary Stephenson, who has been with Heritage Cablevision Corporation since 1973, for his dedication in attending and filming the Council proceedings for television viewing. SECTION II. The Council wishes to thank Heritage Cablevision for covering public service activities like the Council meetings, and looks forward to working with them in 1985. SECTION III.
