RESOLUTION NO. 1245-85 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, COMMENDING <br /> HERITAGE CABLEVISION CORPORATION AND IN <br /> PARTICULAR GARY STEPHENSON FOR THEIR TELE- <br /> VISION COVERAGE OF PUBLIC SERVICE ACTIVITIES <br /> WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend recognizes <br /> that Heritage Cablevision Corporation has covered the regular <br /> meetings of the Common Council for the past two years ; and <br /> WHEREAS, due to this broadcasting on Cable Channel 3, the public <br /> has a fine opportunity to see firsthand some of our City' s public <br /> officials in action; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Common Council wishes to specifically commend <br /> Program Coordinator, Gary Stephenson, who has diligently attended <br /> each of the Council meetings for the past two years and filmed the <br /> Council proceedings for home viewing. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City <br /> of South Bend, Indiana, as follows : <br /> SECTION I. On behalf of the citizens of South Bend, Indiana, the <br /> Common Council hereby publicly commends Program Coordinator Gary <br /> Stephenson, who has been with Heritage Cablevision Corporation since <br /> 1973, for his dedication in attending and filming the Council <br /> proceedings for television viewing. <br /> SECTION II. The Council wishes to thank Heritage Cablevision for <br /> covering public service activities like the Council meetings, and <br /> looks forward to working with them in 1985. <br /> SECTION III.
