RESOLUTION NO. I277-gC <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AUTHORIZING <br /> THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF <br /> HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT AN <br /> APPLICATION FOR THE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT <br /> GRANT PROGRAM. <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br /> is the Chief Executive Officer of the City and is the applicant <br /> for funds made available through the United States Housing Act <br /> ( the Act) . The Housing Development Grant Program is authorized <br /> by the Act. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council <br /> of the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br /> SECTION I . That the Mayor of the City of South Bend, <br /> Indiana is hereby authorized to submit the Housing Development <br /> Grant Program application to the United States Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development. <br /> SECTION II .
